One of a kind Abalone designs.
These designs cannot be duplicated because of the rarity of the abalone shell and in some cases the beads used in the design. They are unique in the world.
Our collection was discovered by The Smithsonian Institution and featured at the Smithsonian American Art Museum Renwick Gallery in Washington, D.C.
Abalone "Lips"
Abalone "Lips"
The 3 red abalone bars in this necklace come from the "lip" of a very old big red abalone which we collected from the coastal waters of Northern California 25 years ago. The amazing abalone pendant looks like some kind of sea creature.
Linking them together are natural Chinese Turquoise Nuggets, Spiny Oyster chips, Red Sponge Coral, Carnelian faceted beads, crystal and Large Sterling Silver twisted nuggets. Strung on premium Soft Touch beading wire. One of a kind.
